Bonsignore Kart Shoppe has been in business since 1982. The company was started by Tom and Bill Bonsignore. They first started out of the basement of their parents house in West Islip, NY. Once they out grew that, they moved into the Industrial Park in Deer Park, NY. At one point and time Bonsignore Racing Engines was one of BEST engine builders in the country, winning up and down the east coast numerous WKA Nationals and IKF Grand Nationals. Since then the company has gone through small name changes and sole ownership was to Tom Bonsignore. In 1996 when the Bonsignore children began racing the both Tom and Bill were back on the national circuit after years away. The kids picked right back up, where their fathers left off and between 1996 and 2004 they ranked up 8 National Championships over 25 National wins and numerous divisional and local track championships. Both Tom's family and Bill's family have earned WKA National Family of the year. Since 2004 all have moved up the racing ladder to the next stage in the pursuit of a career in the sport. However Tom still travels to all of the WKA Nationals and Bill even stops in from time to time when his schedule allows. Bonsignore Kart Shoppe still today provides CHAMPIONSHIP CALIBER SERVICE to many of today's top national drivers. Over the years Bonsignore Kart Shoppe has grown to be one of the BEST kart Shoppe's on the east coast, partnering as dealers with many companies and becoming distributors for many companies as well. As of 2008 Bonsignore Kart Shoppe after 20 years in there Deer Park store, have moved to Blue Point, where they continue to be one of the top notch karting companies on the east coast.
